I’ve always been passionate about being creative. As a little girl I would sit with my step-mom and we would practice drawing Disney characters by referencing coloring books. I could get lost for hours in drawing, coloring, or crafting of any sort. It was only natural to go into an industry where I could be creative. Every. Single. Day.

I went to nail school in 2007 (a year after high-school graduation!) and was lucky enough to be in @chrystacle’s first class! From there, I co-owned a local nail salon for a couple of years before switching paths and taking educator training in 2011. I recertified as a nail educator in 2014 receiving top honors in the class and that pushed open the door for me to start educating and working for Yvonne Duclos (a local nail industry legend), founder and creator of Ugly Duckling Nail Products.

I’ve had the incredible opportunities of becoming one of the first 2 original Ugly Duckling Master Educator’s, competing in nail competitions and placing in the top 3, judging nail art competitions, being featured in published nail magazines as well as creating the cover set for the January 2018 NAILPRO cover with my best friend (and fellow Ugly Duckling Master Educator) @chrystacle!

My goal is to share my passion of nail art through classes that are fun, insightful and approachable. I always want my students to feel comfortable and supported whether they are with me for a 4 hour class or a more in-depth training. Offering quality education and instruction with quality products is what we’re all about here ❤
